ABU DHABI – TRENDS Research & Advisory is organizing an E-Symposium on Tuesday, June 30, to discuss the effects and repercussions of Covid-19 and the global economy. The event will be the first of the four symposiums organized by the research center as part of its first-ever Global Economic E-Forum.
This symposium will discuss various dimensions of the subject and raise questions related to the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy. It will try and find answers about the short and medium-term effects of Covid-19 on the global economy.
Experts will also shed light on the unprecedented shock to the supply and demand sides of the global economy and look at the likely implications of Covid-19 on the economies of the Arab Gulf countries and the UAE. They will also analyze the direct and indirect effects of Covid-19 on economies around the world based on their respective levels of growth.
