ABU DHABI – TRENDS Research & Advisory has launched the TRENDS Council for Young Researchers initiative to engage young researchers in community service and voice their ideas to serve the think-tank’s research and advisory activities. The initiative also seeks to enhance their participation in serving the community.

The Council consists of young researchers at TRENDS Research & Advisory who are under the age of 30. It aims to establish a platform for young researchers – particularly Emiratis – to express their views on how to develop their research skills and exchange ideas about the latest developments, issues, and events of interest and how youth can contribute to addressing them.

The Council communicates with youth organizations in and outside the UAE to develop constructive relationships with young researchers to empower young people and strengthen their capabilities.

It participates in youth events and represents TRENDS Research & Advisory. It also seeks to encourage young researchers to prepare research papers and publish them in local, regional, and specialized international periodicals.
