Europe-Middle East Strategic Dialogue
To be held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland
Tuesday, 20 January 2026 | 17:00-20:00 CET
Davos Lodge, Talstrasse 52, Davos, Switzerland
The Europe-Middle East Strategic Dialogue (EMESD) is an initiative of two independent think tanks: the Abu Dhabi-based Trends Research & Advisory and the Geneva-based Middle East Institute Switzerland (MEIS). EMEDS will take place on 20 January 2026 at the sidelines the World Economic Forum in Davos, with the objective of advancing cooperation between two important world regions. At a time of growing superpower rivalry and a recalibration of the international system, both Europe and the Middle East are in the process of defining their place within the emerging multipolar world order. To this end, EMESD seeks to provide a space that brings together leaders from government, industry, business, and academia to explore new collaboration frameworks within various subject areas.
