Regional partnership outreach – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The main purpose behind visiting Riyadh was networking with prominent researchers in Saudi Arabia who are focusing on areas that are of interest to the TRENDS’ agenda for 2020.
These include studying countries such as China and establishing connections with institutions that share TRENDS’ global focus.
TRENDS Researcher, Emina Osmandzikovic, held meetings with prominent research centers and institutions based in Riyadh to establish ties and discuss potential partnerships with TRENDS’ regional partners.
Asbar Consulting Group
Asbar Consulting Group organizes the annual Asbar World Forum.
Its most recent event – held in Riyadh in November 2019 – witnessed the participation of organizations such as UNESCO, McKinsey and Company and the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF).
Asbar has also conducted remarkable studies on behavioral economics and its applicability in the GCC socio-economic context.
Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge
The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge (CRIK) is an independent scientific research body.
Established in 2016 in Riyadh, CRIK specializes in studying international politics and relations, crisis analysis, supervision, and research in intercultural studies and interstate studies.
The Center also specializes in the field of knowledge communication through programs, conferences, visits, and exhibitions.
CRIK has in-house experts fluent in Chinese and has established extensive relations with research institutions across China.
