Dr. John Hardy is Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies at Rabdan Academy. Dr. John was previously Director of Security Studies at Macquarie University and a Research Fellow at the ANU National Security College (NSC). He has extensive experience in delivering academic and professional development training around the world, specializing in national security, intelligence, counterterrorism and law enforcement.
His current research projects focus on practical national security policy issues, such the ideological discourse of right wing extremism, mechanisms of coercive power in unequal political contests, and the use of emerging technologies to enhance security intelligence operations.
