Dr Saurabh Bandyopadhyay is presently working as Fellow at the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). He obtained his Ph.D in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has a prominent career spanning over 20 years in the field of evidence-based research in development economics. He has published many papers, articles and reports traversing a wide spectrum of issues linked to industry, trade, agriculture, banking, infrastructure and institutions. His special interest includes study on trade policy and its impact on industrial productivity at the sectoral level for India and the world, financial reform as well as research on the energy sector.
