Dr. Shehab is a technical leader in the power and water sector with over 19 years of experience heading globally recognized projects and providing utility infrastructure guidance and knowledge. He began his career at TRANSCO as a Pipeline Support Engineer and has gone on to prove himself as an expert in his field rising to his current position of Water Asset Division Leader at TRANSCO. His expertise spans the fields of asset management, project and programme management and team development. Dr Shebab holds several degrees including a PhD from Cranfield University in the UK, a Master’s in Engineering System Management from the American University in Sharjah and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Valparaiso University in the USA. Additionally, he is Project Management Professional certified (PMP) and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, ImechE. He has a proven track record of building, developing, and managing high-performing cross-functional teams and being able to rapidly diagnose problems and provide solutions. Dr Shehab is also a regular spokesperson with sought-after thought-leadership at international industry events.
