Dr Zora is a psychologist and expert (by the Naval Postgraduate School, USA) in Counterterrorism, Deradicalization, and Human Capital in security systems. Her approach to terrorism through a number of disengagement and deradicalization programs is holistic which include psychosocial, vocational, spiritual-ideology, and cultural aspects. Zora is listed as a forensic psychologist in the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science, Melbourne, Australia.
She is appointed as the head of Forensic Psychology Association (APSIFOR) of Jakarta, Indonesia. She is also appointed as the deputy in the Department of Character Building of the Indonesian Council of Ulamas. Currently, she is working as a lecturer in the University of Indonesia and Jenderal Achmad Yani University, a military university, on several subjects: Military Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Ethics, Deradicalization, Humans Rehabilitation, and Psychology of Terrorism.
