His Excellency Rashed Mohamed Al Hemeiri is the Director of Foreign Assistance Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation. He has over 25 years of experience working in government organizations and the private sector.
H.E. Al Hemeiri has been instrumental in the evolution of the UAE’s foreign assistance programs, working in the Ministry of International Corporation and Development (MICAD) before merging with the MOFAIC. He has served in leadership roles in the UAE’s international development programs ever since.
He serves on various local and international boards related to humanitarian assistance, regional stabilization (to counter violent extremism), recovery, education, and water conservation. H.E. Al Hemeiri earlier spent around 15 years in leading roles in different banks in the UAE. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
