TRENDS Research and Advisory will participate with a pavilion in the international “Expo 2020” which will be held in Dubai for six months, form October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, said the participation of TRENDS participation with an independent pavilion (Numbered C19) within Khalifa Empowerment Program “Aqdar World Summit” in Expo 2020 reflects our awareness of the importance of this huge international event and its nature as one of the most prominent global platforms at the economic and knowledge levels.
Al-Ali emphasized that the participation of TRENDS in the largest exhibition in the world comes as part of TRENDS’ endeavor to underline the importance of knowledge, scientific research, consultancy, and studies in helping to find solutions to critical regional and international challenges and issues. He pointed out that TRENDS, in its participation, will showcase various books, publications and studies on various issues. It will also organize lectures and symposiums on the sidelines of Expo 2020, with an emphasis on TRENDS’ slogan “Foreseeing the Future through Knowledge”.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali explained that this participation is in line with TRENDS’ general strategy to enhance and confirm its internationally oriented view of events and issues, accelerate its drive for leadership and innovation, and strengthen the concept of sustainable development.
He stressed that the participation of TRENDS in Expo 2020 Dubai is a new milestone in its journey. It is a unique opportunity to present world class research and to meet with decision-makers and researchers.
Dr. Al-Ali commended the efforts being made by the organizers of “Expo” and “Aqdar Summit”, which indicate that we will see an exceptionally distinguished version of Expo that confirms the leading position of the UAE in the world. He added that the participation of TRENDS in Expo constitutes an invaluable opportunity to affirm its comprehensive vision of events and issues.
He added that Expo 2020 Dubai is an important occasion to exchange experiences, and forging partnerships and understandings with other institutions, centers and bodies in order to achieve sustainable knowledge that help in finding solutions to challenges and develop plans to confront them. It is worth noting that the “Aqdar World Summit” is an international platform that aims to create sustainable societies, empower individuals, support initiatives and important awareness programs that benefit societies. This event aims to achieve its main goal of “Nourishing Minds, Flourishing Nations.”
Dr. Al-Ali said Khalifa Empowerment Program organizes “Aqdar World Summit” in cooperation with INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions and in partnership with the United Nations and a number of local, regional and international bodies. It is reported that 192 countries are expected to participate in Expo 2020 Dubai, making it the most comprehensive international exhibition ever, which is also expected to see about 25 million visitors.
