TRENDS Research and Advisory celebrated the Emirati Women’s Day, which falls on the 28th of August every year, in appreciation of effective efforts and active contribution to the building and progress the United Arab Emirates. On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of “TRENDS” honored female employees and praised their role in scientific research aiming at creating a generation that is well-equipped with knowledge.

In a statement on this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali said the Emirati women have been enjoying continued support and appreciation from the wise leadership since the formation of country to this day. The UAE leadership has been keen on providing all possible means to empower them and removing all obstacles that obstruct their path to advancement and contribution to the process of building and prosperity of the country alongside their men brothers, he added.

Dr. Al-Ali emphasized that day after day the Emirati women prove their high capability, competence and excellence in every field, thanks to this support. He explained that among the Emirati women today we find ministers, directors, physicians, engineers, teachers and researchers. We find them in the space field, army, police and in various technical and administrative professions.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali said the UAE celebrates this day with great joy and pride in the high position the Emirati women have attained, not only at the national but also at the regional and international levels.

Dr. Al-Ali praised the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Emirates), to celebrate the Emirati Women’s Day 2021 under the theme “Women: Ambitions & Inspiration for the next 50 years” in line with announcement His Highness Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, that 2021 is the “Year of the 50th” in the UAE, as the nation celebrate its Golden Jubilee.

He said these directives reflect the Emirati women’s aspiration for a brighter, more prosperous and more advanced future. He added that the annual celebration of the Emirati Women’s Day on the 28th of August, coinciding with the celebration the birth of the General Women’s Union on 28th of August 1975, comes in appreciation and gratitude for their efforts, strong presence and distinguished service to their country in various fields of activity. He pointed out that the Emirati women have achieved inspiring success stories in all workplaces and proved to be highly responsible and competent.

Dr. Al-Ali extended his greetings to every Emirati woman wherever she is, and to “our mothers, daughters and sisters on this cherished day.” He concluded his statement by asserting that TRENDS Research and Advisory has taken it upon itself to work on empowering the Emirati women, especially young women, in the field of knowledge and scientific research, as part of its role in serving the community and its mission to create a skilled and empowered generation that believes in knowledge as a pathway to the future.
