TRENDS Research and Advisory Center has signed a cooperation agreement with Pride Group to enhance cooperation in training and investment. The agreement was signed by Shaikha Moaza Obaid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Pride, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, in the presence of Mr. Omar Al-Nuaimi, Director General of TRENDS, and Aboobacker Mohammed Ali, CEO of Pride.
The agreement provides for cooperation between TRENDS and Pride in the fields of training, mutual consultations, investment, and building partnerships that serve their shared goals. Pride Group is a leading business and financial investment company, with branches in 43 countries around the world.
Shaikha Moaza Obaid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Pride, stated that this agreement will enhance the efforts of both Pride Group and TRENDS Research and Advisory Center in raising the level of services and skills that further the development journey in the UAE. Shaikha Moaza praised the pioneering role played by TRENDS Research and Advisory Center in serving national issues and strengthening scientific research, describing TRENDS as a pillar of development and a key for anticipating and preparing for the future. She pointed out that Pride Group is keen on strengthening its partnerships with local and international research institutions to achieve its national goals.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory Center, noted that this agreement is one example of the partnerships that TRENDS is keen to have with research, advisory and investment institutions inside and outside the UAE to serve its goal of enhancing its global presence as a leading institution in the fields of research, consulting and training. Al-Ali explained that the annual plan of TRENDS for 2021 includes many ambitious goals, most notably offering guidance to various authorities and institutions, enhancing international public awareness of the issues of the Middle East, establishing a wide network of relations and strategic partnerships with prominent think tanks in the region and the world, and training researchers and equipping them with scientific research tools.
Since the beginning of 2021, TRENDS Research and Advisory Center has signed agreements and memoranda of cooperation with many research centers and institutions inside and outside the UAE, including most notably a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the Emirates Policy Center and the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Youth Center. It has also signed a cooperation agreement with Rabdan Academy to collaborate on issues of mutual interest, especially in the field of politics, security and defense; a memorandum of cooperation with the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) to strengthen cooperation in scholarly and academic research; and a memorandum of understanding with the National Center for Leadership and Sustainable Development in Jordan to promote research in the field of sustainable development.
