Michael Patrick Mulroy

Michael “Mick” Patrick Mulroy is a former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East. He is a retired CIA Paramilitary Operations Officer in the Special Activities Center and a retired United States Marine. Currently, he is the President of Fogbow LLC and the Co-founder of the Lobo Institute (two companies that enable humanitarian operations internationally); an ABC News National Security and Defense Analyst; the Co-president of End Child Soldiering; a Senior Fellow with the Middle East Institute; and he is on the Board of Advisors for Plato’s Academy Centre and the Aurelius Foundation. Mick is married to Mary Beth Mulroy; they have two children: a daughter, Mary Grace, who is in graduate school, and a son, Michael Walton, a Platoon Leader in the 101st Airborne Division. They also have four goddaughters, all Gold Star daughters, and two godsons, whose parents are former child soldiers.
