James Prince

Non-Resident Fellow, Counter Extremism and Civil Society Development

James Prince is President and co-founder of the Democracy Council, a leading nonprofit, nonpartisan international development organization that has managed programs in developing countries around the world. He has testified as a Middle East policy expert in front of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He has widely published on issues relating to civil society in the MENA region, extremism, and US foreign & defense policy. Prince was formerly an Adjunct Professor at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Public Policy and a New Generation Fellow with the American Assembly. He has worked for the US House of Representatives International Relations Committee, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
