Jaron Rothkop

Jaron Rothkop is President of The Last Kilometer; a not-for-profit focused on clean energy policy and technology. He was President and CTO of ZeroBase Energy, a leading designer, and manufacturer of solar hybrid power systems and clean energy microgrids for the governments and commercial/industrial customers. He has served as a technology consultant and director of a consulting practice at J.D. Power and Associates. Rothkop held management positions with a major supplier to the global automotive industry and was responsible for building and operating new divisions in R&D, product development, marketing, cost reduction, quality, and manufacturing. He began his career developing software applications to speed up and improve the design and manufacturing of products and furniture. He has served as an adjunct professor at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies and Wayne State University.
