Kamal Dib is a research analyst and media monitoring expert who focuses on political, security, economic, and geostrategic investment risks in the Gulf, Middle East, and North Africa regions. He has 18 years of experience in the GCC across a range of responsibilities, including working in the diplomatic community. Dib’s research interests focus on Political Islam, the development of violent extremism, societal roles of Islamist groups, the emergence of non-state actors, and issues of identity crises in the Mena region. He is a regular contributor to the media.
