TRENDS Concludes Active Participation in the Al Ain Book Festival 2025

TRENDS Research & Advisory concluded its participation in the 16th edition of the Al Ain Book Festival 2025, marking a prominent presence through its Al Ain office within the events organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan. TRENDS’ participation was part of its efforts to strengthen its research and knowledge presence and to support the national cultural movement.

During its participation, held from November 24-30 at Al Ain Square – Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, TRENDS presented a comprehensive research pavilion that showcased political, economic, and social publications, as well as specialized reports on artificial intelligence, sustainability, and space economics. The pavilion also included the TRENDS Encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood and youth-focused publications.

       

The pavilion hosted high-level official visits from H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as several senior officials, academics, and students.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS; Mohammed Al-Salmi, Head of the Research Sector; and Warda Al-Menhali, Director of the TRENDS Office in Al Ain, provided an overview of the center’s work, the role of its Al Ain office, and its global research efforts. Their Excellencies praised TRENDS’ work, particularly its efforts to empower youth and advance scientific research.

       

The pavilion witnessed a strong turnout from officials, academics, students, and the general public, who explored the center’s latest publications across various scientific and knowledge fields.

As part of the festival’s activities, TRENDS launched a new research study titled Demographic Security in the UAE: The Strategic Imperative of Addressing Declining Fertility Rates, prepared by researcher Mariam Rashid Al-Zaabi, in line with TRENDS’ commitment to supporting young research talent.

The TRENDS Youth Council also participated in a session within the festival’s cultural program titled Youth and the Cultural Landscape, during which researcher Saif Al-Nuaimi delivered a presentation on sustaining cultural participation and the future of the cultural landscape, highlighting youth empowerment programs and AI workshops.

       

At the invitation of Al Ain Sports Club, TRENDS participated as an honorary partner in the 54th Union Day celebrations held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium. The participation included a visual presentation introducing the TRENDS International Training Institute’s programs and the Al Ain Office’s role in youth empowerment.

TRENDS’ interactive booth in the accompanying activities area attracted significant attention. It featured presentations on the center’s research and advisory services, training programs, and new publications, as well as discussions with institutions and visitors on the role of scientific research in future foresight.

TRENDS concluded its participation by reaffirming its role in supporting the cultural landscape and solidifying its position as a leading think tank advancing knowledge and developing young talent.
