TRENDS Group, through its virtual office in Morocco, is participating in the 31st International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat, which runs from April 30 to May 10 at the OLM Souissi venue in the Moroccan capital. The Group is showcasing more than 450 publications, spanning scientific series, research papers, and studies across economic, geopolitical, technological, political, and social fields.
This is TRENDS’ second consecutive participation in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair, coinciding with the city’s selection as World Book Capital 2026. At Hall B, Pavilion 36, TRENDS will mark the occasion by launching a range of new titles and organizing a series of knowledge-driven events and intellectual discussions with representatives of think tanks and academic, research, and scientific institutions from North Africa. It will also explore partnerships with international publishers to support the publishing ecosystem and advance knowledge at both regional and global levels.
The latest edition of the fair, organized by Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, brings together more than 891 publishing houses and cultural and intellectual institutions from over 61 countries. The French Republic is the guest of honor, and the event hosts a distinguished lineup of thinkers, researchers, experts, and writers from around the world, reinforcing its status as one of the leading cultural and intellectual events in the Arab world.

Bridging the Knowledge Gap
TRENDS Group emphasized that its participation in the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat for the second consecutive year is driven by its commitment to disseminating specialized knowledge. By making high-quality research and academic content accessible to fair attendees, the Group aims to help bridge knowledge gaps across key fields, particularly in strategy, technology, and economics.
It added that the participation also seeks to support publishing and translation, while encouraging researchers, academics, and thinkers to contribute to intellectual production and expand translation from global languages. The initiative further aims to build direct engagement with readers and research communities across North Africa, while facilitating the exchange of expertise with publishing houses and academic and research institutions.
TRENDS noted that its active presence at international cultural forums and book fairs is part of a broader effort to strengthen its research identity and promote a culture of reliance on credible sources and rigorous studies. These efforts also align with its continued commitment to supporting the knowledge economy by highlighting the role of robust scientific research in advancing sustainable development.

New Publications
Rawdha Al-Marzooqi, researcher and Director of Distribution and Exhibitions at TRENDS Group, stated that the Group’s second participation in the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat goes beyond showcasing leading research and scientific publications. It also aims to create an interactive cultural environment that encourages reading, creative thinking, and knowledge-driven awareness.
She added that the participation includes the launch of several new, high-quality titles, including the second volume of The Muslim Brotherhood: Expansion Experiences and Confrontation Approaches, which is the 16th book in TRENDS’ Encyclopedia of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Group is also unveiling Space Diplomacy and State Trust: The UAE and the Strategic Rationale for Arab Space Cooperation, authored by Dr. Naser Abdullatif Al-Hammadi.
Al-Marzouqi noted that, through its participation in the Rabat International Publishing and Book Fair, the Group seeks to strengthen its research role as a knowledge bridge connecting societies and as a platform for purposeful research and sustainable knowledge.
She highlighted that the interactive smart pavilion allows visitors to gain deeper insight into TRENDS’ work, including its research, training, and advisory arms, as well as its global network of offices, thereby enhancing academic engagement and supporting culture and knowledge.
