Trends Research and Advisory and the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute reviewed ways of cooperation through joint publication projects, organizing round tables and scientific events, and exchanging researchers and trainees.
This came during a cordial visit by a delegation from the Turkish Institute. Dr. Huseyin Bagci, President of the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute led the Turkish delegation which visited Trends’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The two parties briefed each other on their research interests, and discussed the prospects for further cooperation in various fields.
Mr. Abdulhadi Al Hammadi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Sector at Trends, briefed the visitors about Trends fields of work, its sectors and forward-looking research vision. He stressed the significant returns of cooperation between research institutions in the region. He explained that Trends Research and Advisory and the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute have expertise and competencies that strengthen mutual relations. The Two side shall exchange experiences and knowledge and promote cooperation between research institutions in the region.
Dr. Huseyin Bagci expressed his appreciation for TRENDS Center’s invitation for the Turkish delegation. He stressed the significance of cooperation between the two sides in areas that would promote and serve scientific research. He said that Trends has become an important reference in the region and constitutes a global knowledge bridge.
The two sides agreed to continue communication and sign a memorandum of understanding in the near future to develop fruitful cooperation in research and scientific fields.
