His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, hosted in his office a delegation of TRENDS Research and Advisory headed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS, and received from it copies of TRENDS’ publications.

During the reception, His Excellency was briefed by the delegation, which included a number of heads of sectors and directors of the Centre’s departments, on the most important publications for disseminating knowledge, reading events and foreseeing their outcomes and future. He underlined the need for and importance of confronting thought with thought and appreciated TRENDS’ role in this respect.

His Excellency added that scientific research constitutes the first and most important source of knowledge and appreciated the role played by TRENDS in empowering young researchers and consolidating their skills.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, expressed his happiness with the research cooperation with His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, and the submission to him of a number of TRENDS’ knowledge-disseminating publications. He also thanked His Excellency for his confidence in TRENDS and the ongoing research cooperation between the two sides.

Dr. Al-Ali added that TRENDS strives to empower young Emirati researchers in a way that would provide the labor market with a qualified labor force that is capable of maintaining gains and furthering achievements.
