Coinciding with its 10th-anniversary celebrations, TRENDS Research & Advisory has announced the launch of the TRENDS International Training Institute, marking a new phase of empowerment and institutional and individual development.
The new institute aims to be a global leader in training, offering specialized and innovative programs that contribute toward developing competencies and enhancing the competitiveness of individuals and institutions.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, stated that this step culminates in TRENDS’ ongoing efforts to support human development and sustainability. He expressed confidence that this institute will contribute toward building a thriving knowledge economy that promotes excellence and innovation.
He added that the institute also aligns with the process of progress and coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Center’s inception and its bronze jubilee celebrations. He added that the institute’s vision is to be a leading global center providing an integrated educational environment combining theory and practice to meet the evolving needs of the job market. The institute’s mission is to offer exceptional training experiences that contribute to achieving trainees’ aspirations and developing their skills and capabilities in service of the community’s ambitions and the United Arab Emirates.
Mohammed Al-Salmi, Head of the Research Sector at TRENDS and Director of the Institute, said that the TRENDS International Training Institute has been established to reinforce TRENDS’ global research vision and emphasize the importance of training in contributing to advanced empowerment that directly responds to the market’s needs for qualified young talents and other essential and in-demand fields.
He noted that the institute would launch its first programs tomorrow in specific specializations, granting certificates accredited by TRENDS and its international partner, which will be announced on August 26, 2024, at an official ceremony to inaugurate the institute.
Al-Salmi explained that the institute’s main objectives are to diversify training fields by developing comprehensive training programs covering various sectors and professions, innovating training methodologies by adopting the latest training methods and techniques to enhance the learning experience, and establishing strategic partnerships by building collaborative relationships with governmental and private institutions to serve the community.
According to him, the focus is also on learning outcomes by providing the necessary support to trainees to ensure they achieve their goals, as well as sustainable development to ensure the continuity of the institute and the expansion of its programs while maintaining their quality.
