TRENDS Research & Advisory and the Human Fraternity Foundation signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen the role of scholarly research and promote the values of dialogue and mutual understanding among cultures.
The agreement was signed at RENDS’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, and Monsignor Dr. Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, President of the Human Fraternity Foundation, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al-Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity; Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, Spiritual Leader of the Druze Community; Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, Vice President of the Global Imams Council; Rifaat Bou Assaf, journalist; Lina Nasser Al-Balushi, Human Rights Expert; and officials and staff of both sides.

This agreement aims to strengthen scholarly research and joint cooperation between both parties in areas of mutual interest in a way that contributes to the achievement of their stated goals. The agreement also focuses on supporting and conducting original research based on field data, evidence, and facts, and using them to serve society and decision-makers. Moreover, it seeks to expand the knowledge base and benefit from expertise in the fields of policy and research.
The agreement includes establishing a formal framework for communication and coordination between both parties that enable them to achieve their shared goals in the fields of research and knowledge. It emphasizes the exchange of studies and expertise, as well as the organization of scholarly events, conferences, and joint workshops.

This agreement is part of the efforts of both institutions to enhance research and knowledge cooperation and to provide a scholarly platform that contributes to the development of public policies and the wider dissemination of knowledge.
The Human Fraternity Foundation is a non-profit Egyptian organization dedicated to supporting and promoting human fraternity and spreading the values and principles of the Human Fraternity Document and a culture of fraternity and coexistence.
