Hannan Hussain is a Senior Expert at Initiate Futures, a global policy think tank, and author. He was a Fulbright Scholar of Public Policy at the University of Maryland and specializes in international security. Hannan brings years of experience across research, policy, consultancy, and media industries both within Pakistan and overseas. He has provided expert insights to the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, Cornell University’s Policy Review, University of Southern California’s Center on Public Diplomacy, Middle East Institute USA, The Fletcher Forum of World Affairs, Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and The London School of Economics.

Hannan holds degrees in Public Administration from the National University of Sciences and Technology and a Fulbright Masters in Public Policy from the University of Maryland. He is currently pursuing his PhD in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University.
