İlker Sezer is the Managing Editor at Türkiye Today. With a background in journalism and public affairs, he previously served as Press and Media Specialist at the U.S. Mission to Türkiye and as Foreign News Editor at Hürriyet Daily and Milliyet Daily, two of Türkiye’s leading media outlets. His reporting experience spans conflict zones including Libya, Syria, Lebanon, and Ukraine, and his work has been featured in major Turkish and international publications. He also briefly worked in Germany as a foreign correspondent. İlker holds a degree in Journalism from Istanbul University and a Master’s degree from Boğaziçi University, where his research focused on sovereign wealth funds in the Gulf region.
