Maryam Mohamed Al Kuwaiti is a dedicated and academically driven medical student at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. Her interests lie at the intersection of pediatrics, medical technology, and cybersecurity in healthcare, reflecting her belief that the future of medicine depends on innovation guided by ethics and empathy.
She trained in pediatric surgery at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she developed a deep appreciation for how technology and human compassion can work together to improve patient outcomes. Her book, The Digital World and Human Health, reflects her passion for protecting wellbeing in the digital age, exploring how artificial intelligence and cybersecurity can strengthen healthcare systems while safeguarding privacy and mental health.
Maryam’s work aligns with the UAE’s National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031, promoting digital awareness, safety, and holistic health for future generations. Beyond her academic journey, she enjoys weightlifting, cycling, swimming, photography, traveling, and volunteering. She finds peace by the beach and feels a strong connection to the sea and its animals.
Her long-term mission is to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity in medicine and to help build a safer, smarter, and more compassionate healthcare future for all.
