As part of its active presence at the Al Ain Book Festival 2025, and at an official invitation from Al Ain Sports Club, TRENDS Research & Advisory strengthened its standing as a distinguished honorary partner in the UAE’s 54th Union Day celebrations, held today at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
TRENDS, through its Al Ain office, participated in this major event, which began at 8:30 a.m. and continued until 1:00 p.m. The celebration featured a high-level presence, including Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, Their Excellencies the Ministers, and senior officials, as well as a public turnout of more than 3,000.
This partnership reflects TRENDS’ position as a leading intellectual and knowledge institution. It marks a milestone that strengthens its scholarly output and research mission in supporting events and activities that serve culture and the community. The main event at the stadium featured a dedicated visual presentation by the TRENDS team, along with an extensive introduction by the master of ceremonies that highlighted its diverse contributions in research, training, and advisory services.
The introduction emphasized that TRENDS Research & Advisory is an independent, pioneering think tank committed to producing knowledge and analyzing future global trends. It outlined TRENDS’ specialized research tracks, which span strategic studies, economic and future studies, and analyses of extremist and societal thought, all aimed at serving stakeholders and helping shape evidence-based policy. The master of ceremonies also highlighted the advisory sector’s role in providing specialized research and strategic solutions to support beneficiary institutions.
The introduction also highlights TRENDS International Training Institute, its training arm, which offers specialized programs in strategic analysis and future foresight. It further underscored the importance of TRENDS’ Al Ain office as a hub for youth empowerment and the dissemination of research knowledge.
TRENDS set up a distinguished pavilion that drew strong public and attendee interest. The pavilion showcased TRENDS’ research, training, and advisory services, along with a rich collection of the Center’s publications. It also hosted several side discussions that explored ways for cooperation and highlighted the vital role of scientific research in addressing challenges and shaping the future.
