TRENDS Research & Advisory hosted His Excellency Dr. Arif Al Hammadi, Acting Director-General of Strategic and Digital Affairs at the Department of Community Development–Abu Dhabi, and his delegation for an extensive dialogue session. The discussion centered on enhancing cooperation to strengthen institutional partnerships and integrate knowledge-based efforts.

The delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, Chief Executive Officer of TRENDS Research & Advisory, who accompanied them on an introductory tour. During the visit, he briefed the delegation on TRENDS’ departments and research divisions, as well as the advanced technologies employed in research and foresight studies.

       

During the session, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Department of Community Development, reaffirming TRENDS’ belief that research constitutes a primary driver for the development of sustainable social policies. He explained that the session is part of TRENDS’ ongoing commitment to building bridges of cooperation with leading institutions and to leveraging its research outputs and data analysis expertise in support of the Department’s efforts to build a cohesive society grounded in innovative digital knowledge.

       

His Excellency Dr. Arif Al Hammadi praised the advanced technical and research capabilities achieved by TRENDS, noting that enhancing the quality of life within society requires a vision grounded in robust data and digital foresight. He indicated that the discussions with TRENDS aim to strengthen integration between the Department of Community Development’s strategic fieldwork and TRENDS’s deep analytical expertise. He also expressed his aspiration for joint initiatives to develop the Department’s strategic and digital tools in alignment with government plans and priorities.

The dialogue session also witnessed an exchange of publications and discussions on organizing joint events. In addition, avenues for cooperation in digital training and capacity development were reviewed, with the aim of advancing the strategic objectives of both entities and enhancing institutional efficiency on a sound foundation.
