TRENDS International Training Institute Launches Diplomacy Training Program with Geneva School of Diplomacy

TRENDS International Training Institute (TITI) has announced the launch of the International Diplomacy 2025 program in collaboration with the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations (GSD). This initiative aims to enhance leadership skills and competencies in international diplomacy through global best practices.

The International Diplomacy 2025 program, spanning eight accredited university hours, aims to enhance the skills of diplomats, decision-makers, and specialists in international affairs. It focuses on developing critical and analytical thinking abilities, deepening the understanding of international relations, and raising awareness of international law and treaties. The program addresses sustainability issues, intercultural dialogue, multilateralism, and global health. The program’s curriculum covers pivotal subjects such as the wealth of nations and income inequality, international human rights law, great power relations, and regional organizations and integration.

               

Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, expressed his delight at the launch of this program in collaboration with GSD, one of the leading academic institutions in international relations. He emphasized that this partnership reflects TRENDS’ commitment to offering specialized training programs that empower young national talent, providing them with the knowledge necessary to actively participate in shaping the future and strategically addressing global issues.

Dr. Al-Ali added that this program is a significant step forward in professional training, offering participants a unique opportunity to understand critical international relations issues better. It aims to build a new generation of diplomats capable of realizing a forward-looking vision. He said program graduates will receive a certificate jointly issued by TRENDS International Training Institute and the Geneva School of Diplomacy, accredited by prestigious international bodies such as EDUQUA, AGEP, and SGS.

           

Sultan Al-Rubaei, Head of the TRENDS International Training Institute, highlighted the program’s value as a distinctive addition to TRENDS’ portfolio. He expressed confidence in its ability to enhance participants’ analytical and decision-making skills. He also noted that TRENDS aims to provide an interactive platform for knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.

Dr. Colum Murphy, President of GSD, and Dr. Rakesh Krishnan, General Manager of GSD, welcomed this collaboration and stated that the program will strengthen academic cooperation and help build the capacities of young diplomacy talent. They expressed confidence that the program would succeed significantly and advance the region’s diplomatic sector.
