The event, from February 9-10, will feature a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and decision-makers from around the world. 

TRENDS Research & Advisory is participating in the exhibition accompanying the international conference titled Reimagining Translation and Literary Studies in the Age of Digital Humanities, AI, and Gamified Narratives, organized by the UAE University under the patronage of H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE and Chancellor of the University. The event will be held at the Crescent Building from February 9-10 and will feature a distinguished group of academics, researchers, experts, and decision-makers from around the world. 

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, affirmed that TRENDS’ participation in the exhibition stems from its firm belief in the importance of integrating human knowledge with advanced technologies and in strengthening the presence of scientific research in global discussions on the future of literary studies and translation. 

Dr. Al Ali noted that the conference represents an advanced platform for reimagining the tools of translation and literary studies amid rapid digital transformations. It also provides a significant opportunity to engage with a distinguished group of researchers and participants from various countries, build research partnerships to develop joint projects, enhance the exchange of expertise, and support the production of solid knowledge that employs artificial intelligence and digital humanities to serve global cultural dialogue. 

He added that TRENDS’ participation falls within its strategic vision to expand its international academic network, strengthen cooperation with universities and research centers, and link research outputs to the development of cultural and knowledge policies. 

Dr. Al Ali also indicated that TRENDS will showcase, through its pavilion at the exhibition, a selection of its most prominent recent research publications, including knowledge outputs enhanced by AI applications, reflecting TRENDS’ orientation toward employing advanced technologies in knowledge production and supporting rigorous scientific research. 

Researcher Warda Al Menhali, Director of the TRENDS Office in Al Ain, explained that participation in the exhibition held alongside the conference reflects its vital role in supporting academic and knowledge activities in Al Ain and in strengthening direct engagement with the United Arab Emirates University and participating researchers. She emphasized that the Office is committed to translating the TRENDS vision into effective research and knowledge initiatives that keep pace with digital transformations in translation and literary studies, while firmly establishing its presence at specialized events with an international dimension. 

The conference aims to promote discussion on the evolving intersections between translation, literary studies, digital technologies, AI applications, and interactive narratives, contributing to the reformulation of research approaches and opening new horizons for creativity and cultural communication in the digital age.
