For the second consecutive year, through its Jakarta Office, TRENDS Research & Advisory is participating in the Indonesia International Book Fair 2025, which will last until September 28 at the Jakarta International Convention Center. The participation is in strategic collaboration with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, reflecting both institutions’ shared commitment to disseminating knowledge and promoting intercultural dialogue.

At its corner within the pavilion of Mohammed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, TRENDS is showcasing a distinguished selection of its latest publications, including books and studies on future foresight, international relations, policy analysis, and intellectual security. The aim is to provide Indonesian readers and international visitors with in-depth analytical perspectives on pressing global issues.

On the first day, H.E. Fadli Zon, Minister of Culture of Indonesia, visited the pavilion, accompanied by H.E. Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and ASEAN. The pavilion was also visited by H.E. Talip Küçükcan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Indonesia.
All visitors browsed the research and knowledge publications displayed by TRENDS and were briefed on the center’s work and its knowledge-driven approach.

On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, emphasized the strategic importance of this participation, noting that it represents a significant step in strengthening the presence of think tanks and research institutions on the global cultural landscape. He added that the collaboration with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities reflects the integration between the UAE’s leading intellectual institutions in the service of human knowledge and in building bridges of mutual understanding with people around the world, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Rouda Al-Marzouqi, Director of the Distribution and Exhibitions Department at TRENDS, highlighted the nature of the activities and offerings, saying that “the Distribution and Exhibitions Department has been keen on ensuring the availability of a wide collection of the latest publications in both Arabic and English, covering vital topics of interest to researchers and readers in Indonesia.”
She added that the Jakarta International Book Fair is one of the most prominent cultural platforms in the region, and TRENDS’ participation in it provides a valuable opportunity to directly engage with the public and academic institutions while showcasing the center’s contributions to strategic research.
