A study published by TRENDS Research & Advisory affirmed that the historic visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates from May 13-16, 2025, represented a strategic shift in Gulf–U.S. relations. It strongly boosted the strategic partnership between the two sides in confronting escalating regional and international challenges.

The study — An Analytical Reading of the Implications and Outcomes of President Trump’s Gulf Visit — prepared by the TRENDS Research Department, analyzed the visit’s economic, political, and strategic dimensions.
