The publishing and printing industry in the UAE is a new addition to the diversification of income sources in the framework of the economic development strategy, which aims to build a knowledge-based society as a main income stream. Despite fierce competition from social and virtual media, the publishing industry has successfully overcome various challenges and proved its capacity for sustainability and growth.
This study aims to examine the impact of the Emirates Publishers Association on the publishing industry in the UAE and the other Arab Gulf countries, identify key challenges and opportunities for the UAE publishing sector, and provide recommendations to enhance the publishing industry in the UAE.
