Noor Al Mazrouei is the Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Technology Department and a Senior Researcher at TRENDS. She leads the center’s efforts to explore the societal, economic, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, with a focus on promoting responsible AI governance and advancing technology’s role in sustainable development.
Her research and publications address critical intersections between AI and policy, including algorithmic bias, disinformation and AI-generated media, emotional AI, and the transformative role of intelligent systems in sectors such as education, health, and the environment.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Digital Futures at King’s College London, where her academic work complements her commitment to shaping global AI policy and strengthening governance frameworks for emerging technologies.
