Ayca Ariyoruk

Ayca Ariyoruk is a global policy strategist and cross-cultural ethics advisor in artificial intelligence. She is a senior fellow at the Washington-based Center for AI and Digital Policy and a contributor to the AI and Democratic Values Index, which evaluates 80+ countries’ national AI strategies’ alignment with democratic values. She advises governments, international organizations, and start-ups on AI politics, governance, and regulatory trends. Her research spans existing and future risks at the intersection of international security and human rights, including lethal autonomous weapon systems and responsible AI use in the military. Ayca holds an MA from Seton Hall University in Diplomacy International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the University of Nebraska.
