Christian Bueger is professor at the University of Copenhagen and a Research Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. He is the author of Understanding Maritime Security (Oxford University Press, 2024, with Tim Edmunds). As a leading expert in diplomacy, maritime security and ocean governance he regularly works with governments and international organizations to make the seas safer.
