Gianluca Mattarocci is full professor of banking and director of the Bachelor in Business Administration and Economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is visiting professor at Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece), Institute of Management and Technology – Dubai (UAE), and Institute of Management and Technology – Ghaziabad (India).

He is currently the director of major in real estate finance at LUISS business school and adjunct professor of corporate finance, banking and real estate at LUISS University. He has published more than 150 academic outputs, including articles, book chapters, and books. His main research interests are real estate, credit portfolio management and corporate finance. He has a PhD in Banking and Finance and a master of science in asset management.
