Rashid Alzaabi joined TRENDS Research & Advisory in 2025 as an assistant researcher interested in strategic studies and political analysis in Southeast Asia, specifically China. Alzaabi is a Zayed University Graduate holding a bachelor’s degree of Arts in International Relations from the College of Humanities and Social Studies, where he was awarded the Dean’s list of outstanding achievement in 2019. He trained in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2023. In 2024, he joined Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center as well as participating in multiple volunteering programs.
