Simran Sodhi is Director of TRENDS’ Virtual Office in India. She holds a Master’s in International Relations from the American University, Washington, DC. In 2009, her book Piercing the Heart: Untold Stories of 26/11 was published. She has written for The Statesman, Al Arabiya English and Khaleej Times, among others. In a journalistic career spanning more than a decade, she reported extensively from Tokyo, Beijing, Pakistan and Bhutan, as well as from other parts of the world.
