TRENDS Research & Advisory is participating as a contributing member in the World Governments Summit 2026, being held at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai from February 3-5, 2026. During the Summit, TRENDS will organize a series of specialized activities that explore the future of contemporary regional and international issues.
This participation underscores TRENDS’ standing as one of the world’s leading think tanks with a strong foresight vision, operating under the motto “Foreseeing the Future through Knowledge.” TRENDS seeks to provide in-depth analyses and strategic insights that help shape tomorrow’s policies.
The Algorithmic State
TRENDS’ participation in the World Governments Summit includes organizing a strategic foresight session titled Governments of the Future: Global Trends – Insights from Global Think Tanks. The session will bring together leaders of research institutions and global think tanks to discuss the key trends shaping governance, politics, and decision-making in a multipolar world.
The participation will also feature the launch of a new analytical report — The Algorithmic State: How AI and Machine Intelligence Are Reshaping the Future of Government — which examines the profound transformations in governance systems driven by modern technological and digital revolutions.
To enhance dialogue and knowledge cooperation, TRENDS will sign, on the sidelines of the Summit, three cooperation and strategic partnership agreements with the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development, the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, and Forbes Middle East. These agreements aim to expand the base of sustainable partnerships in research, academic, and media fields, and to exchange expertise, insights, and knowledge.
