As part of its ambitious vision to expand the horizons of research collaboration and affirm its position as a leading global think tank, TRENDS Research & Advisory has announced the launch of a global knowledge tour spanning three continents—Europe, North America, and South America—with stops in France, the United States, and Argentina.
Running from April 9 to 23, 2025, the tour aims to foster global intellectual dialogue and exchange scientific perspectives on a variety of research and knowledge topics, most notably foreseeing the future, artificial intelligence, innovation, and sustainability. It also seeks to promote the values of coexistence and confront extremist ideologies and violence.

France
The tour will begin in Paris, France, from April 11 to 14, with TRENDS participating in the Paris International Book Fair. The Paris leg will also feature three symposiums and discussion panels at the Salle d’Honneur in the Grand Palais. These are a symposium titled “France, EU, and the MENA Region: New Ideas for International Relations in the Coming World Order”; a symposium titled “Political Islam Groups and Separatist Tendencies in Europe: Challenges and Countermeasures”; and a panel discussion titled “The Youth: A bridge for Intercultural Communication”.
As part of its ongoing efforts to counter extremist ideologies—particularly those of the Muslim Brotherhood—TRENDS will return to the French Senate to organize a symposium titled “AI and Terrorism”, featuring an elite group of parliamentarians and international experts from France and Europe. TRENDS will also participate in another symposium titled “The Future of Yemen”.
During the tour, TRENDS will explore cooperation opportunities with several prominent French academic and research institutions, particularly in the field of counter-extremism and anti-terrorism, including the Grand Lodge of France, the French National Assembly, the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF), the French Ministry of the Interior, and the French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP).
The TRENDS pavilion at the Paris International Book Fair will also witness the signing of several new publications in both French and English, including a book titled “Applying Training and Simulation Models in Cybersecurity” by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Government Cyber Security Council; the Arabic and English editions of the book titled “Money for Terrorism” by French Senator Nathalie Goulet; and a new study titled “The Paradigm of “Integral Islam” in Prescriptive Religious Discourse” by Dominique Avon.

United States
Following its visit to France, TRENDS will continue its global research tour with a stop in the United States, where it will officially inaugurate its new physical office in Washington, D.C. This opening will be marked by a special event titled “The Future of U.S.-Middle East Partnership: The Impact of Technology and Innovation”.
The Washington leg will also include knowledge visits to prominent institutions such as the White House, the National Security Council, the Department of State, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) at the Wadhwani AI Center.
TRENDS will also host a dialogue session with Johns Hopkins University and other research institutions, featuring panel discussions and the signing of research collaboration agreements with academic and policy centers.
Additional visits will focus on AI and digital policy centers, including a stop at the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation.

Argentina
The final stop of TRENDS’ global tour will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the TRENDS delegation will participate in the Buenos Aires International Book Fair.
During this visit, TRENDS will host dialogue sessions with officials and experts from the National Institute of Foreign Service, the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Argentine National Congress, and the Argentina–UAE Friendship Group.
TRENDS will also organize a roundtable discussion on relations between the MENA region and Latin America, in collaboration with the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI).
The Argentina mission will conclude with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Defense University, and a virtual dialogue session hosted by TRENDS’ Virtual Office in Buenos Aires, featuring the Argentine Minister of Strategic Affairs to discuss the impacts of artificial intelligence, as well as a discussion with the Argentine Council for International Relations.
