TRENDS Research and Advisory has inaugurated its seventh office globally in Istanbul, Turkey. This move is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen knowledge exchange with regional and international think tanks and to execute its comprehensive research strategy aimed at producing balanced and insightful content, particularly in the field of foresight studies.
The inauguration event took place simultaneously in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, attended by officials, researchers, and academics, including non-resident TRENDS researchers Abdulaziz Al-Maamari and Mohammed Al-Sawafi.
The TRENDS Istanbul office is one of several branch offices supporting the main headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Other offices have been established in Dubai, Cairo, Rabat, Cape Town, Montreal, and Beijing, with a goal to open ten offices in major world capitals, reinforcing the center’s mission as a global knowledge bridge.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, highlighted in his speech that TRENDS Istanbul was established due to Turkey’s strategic importance as a bridge between East and West. This office will enhance TRENDS’ global research presence and support international scientific collaboration. He expressed hope that the office in Turkey would act as a liaison between the Turkish research community and the headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
