Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wajeb Volunteering Association, the association held its fifth annual Ramadan Majlis in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Zayed’s Values and Social Solidarity”. The event was organized in collaboration with TRENDS Research & Advisory.

The Majlis aligns with the UAE prudent leadership’s vision and reflects the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (may God protect him), to strengthen communication, national cohesion, and solidarity among community members.

The gathering was attended by a distinguished group of officials, leaders, and pioneers in volunteerism. Participants discussed the vital role of the values instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in fostering social unity, in line with the Year of the Community initiative.

H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan emphasized that the values of Zayed Al-Khair serve as a fundamental pillar in reinforcing solidarity and cohesion within society, aligning with the leadership’s aspirations to build a strong and united community. He highlighted that Ramadan Majlises provide platforms for promoting positive values, fostering a culture of giving, and encouraging volunteerism.

H.E. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, reaffirmed that the values instilled by Sheikh Zayed (may he rest in peace) will remain the cornerstone for strengthening tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and community engagement. He praised the UAE’s humanitarian legacy, which has become a global model of generosity and social responsibility.

The Majlis featured insightful discussions on enhancing the volunteerism framework, strengthening national identity through principles of cooperation and solidarity, and showcasing successful community initiatives that have contributed to development and reinforced social responsibility.
