Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, has emphasized that, because of the continued support of wise leadership, Emirati women have become essential and effective partners in various stages of national development. Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali noted that their achievements have not stopped at the country’s borders but have extended to rank among the world’s leading experiences.

He explained in a statement on Emirati Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually on August 28. Emirati women’s successes are in various sectors — from education, medicine, and engineering to science, space, and national security — reflect a compelling testament to challenge, determination, and excellence. These achievements have made Emirati women role models at the regional and international levels.

The CEO of TRENDS praised the significant support Emirati women have received since the country was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, and continuing through the presidency of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has made women’s empowerment and the enhancement of their presence a major national priority.

He pointed out that the theme “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years,” launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), in celebration of the Union’s Golden Jubilee, reflects a comprehensive vision that consolidates the values of national solidarity and affirms the status of women as an integral part of society and a key driver of sustainable development.

Dr. Al-Ali emphasized that the annual celebration of Emirati Women’s Day serves as a message of recognition and appreciation to every Emirati woman, regardless of her position or field of service. It highlights the significant contributions she has made to her country and society. He added, “Emirati women have demonstrated their capacity to lead initiatives and effect change, and their successes today result from a national vision that places human beings—whether men or women—at the center of national priorities.”

Dr. Al-Ali concluded his statement by emphasizing TRENDS Research & Advisory’s unwavering commitment to empowering Emirati women, particularly in education and research. This commitment is reflected in providing a supportive environment and meaningful opportunities to develop their skills and hone their capabilities. He added that empowering young women in strategic thinking and research represents a long-term investment in the UAE’s future and strengthens its position as a global leader in innovation and governance.
