TRENDS Research & Advisory hosted H.E. Odonbaatar Shijeekhuu, Ambassador of Mongolia to the UAE, in a workshop that explored ways to enhance cooperation, research, and academic partnerships between the Center and its counterparts in Mongolia. The workshop also highlighted the vital role research institutions play in promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence.

They reviewed various topics of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in rapidly evolving scientific and technological fields. The discussions also covered potential areas of cooperation and the implementation of joint research initiatives that align with both sides’ goals.

H.E. Ambassador Odonbaatar Shijeekhuu expressed his deep appreciation for TRENDS’ role in promoting tolerance and coexistence. He praised the Center’s efforts in fostering dialogue and encouraging civilizational and cultural openness, emphasizing the importance of these values in building stable and prosperous societies.

“His Excellency said that the discussion was fruitful and that there were promising opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two sides in vital areas such as scientific research.”

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS, highlighted the importance of this dialogue in opening new horizons for cooperation in implementing joint research projects and exchanging experiences and knowledge. He also pointed out TRENDS’ commitment to its role in spreading the values of tolerance and coexistence.

Dr. Al-Ali expressed his aspiration to translate these discussions into practical steps, whether through organizing joint training programs, launching research initiatives in common interest, or facilitating the exchange of experiences between researchers and institutions in Mongolia.

He stressed the importance of continuing communication and activating cooperation mechanisms to serve common interests and enhance bilateral relations.
