TRENDS Research and Advisory and the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination discussed ways of cooperation in research, studies, and consultancies aimed at improving the lives of people of determination and enabling them to achieve their full potential.   The discussion occurred during a visit by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, accompanied by a delegation of researchers from the Research and Projects Sectors, to the Foundation’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Several of the Foundation’s officials attended the discussion and focused on the role of academic research in developing projects and achieving sustainability and development. The TRENDS delegation was briefed on the various services and programs provided by the Foundation to people of determination, including those in education, rehabilitation, employment, health care, sports, and culture.   His Excellency Abdullah Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, welcomed TRENDS’ researchers, praised their knowledge-disseminating and research efforts, and stressed the importance of academic research in the project development and implementation and the importance of cooperation between the two organizations. TRENDS researchers expressed their great appreciation for the efforts of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the advanced level of services it provides. They stressed their commitment to supporting this leading institution to enhance the integration of people of determination into society and enable them to live in dignity and independence.   The two sides agreed to continue communication, cooperation, and exchange of experiences and information to sign a cooperation agreement that meets the objectives of TRENDS and the Foundation.
