TRENDS continues its intellectual contribution to the World Governments Summit 2025

TRENDS Research & Advisory, as a contributing member, continued its participation in the proceedings, sessions and discussions of the World Governments Summit 2025 held in Dubai. The center’s team also discussed the importance and role of scientific research in enhancing governance and shaping the future, in addition to exploring partnership opportunities and mechanisms for cooperation with regional and international scientific and research institutions. The team engaged in research dialogues with several ministers, diplomats, and officials who were briefed on TRENDS’ experience in empowering young researchers and its global research mission.

 

The TRENDS research delegation, led by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, met with His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Vice President of the Arab Youth Center, His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to H.H. the President of the UAE, His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed, Head of the National Media Office, His Excellency Jasem Al Budawi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Her Excellency Maryam Majid bin Theneya, Second Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, and discussed with them the summit’s agenda and the role of scientific research in shaping the future, analyzing events, and enhancing knowledge.

The TRENDS research delegation also met with the UAE ambassadors to Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Cuba, with the discussions focusing on cultural diplomacy and the role of think tanks and research centers in this respect. All participants were briefed on TRENDS’ efforts in empowering young researchers and contributing to the development of their scientific and intellectual talents.

 

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, emphasized that the center’s participation in the World Governments Summit this year reaffirms its research role and its commitment to learning about best global practices, as well as exchanging experiences and insights in scientific, research and knowledge fields with participating entities.
