As part of its active participation in the BRIDGE Summit 2025, TRENDS Research & Advisory launched the TRENDS Global Ambassadors initiative to expand the global reach of research-based knowledge and connect content creators, influencers, and thought leaders with its academic and intellectual projects.
The initiative was unveiled during a special event at the TRENDS futuristic pavilion, attended by a select group of media professionals, experts, and digital influencers. The launch also featured a recognition ceremony honoring several journalists and influential figures for their support of TRENDS’ mission and for showcasing its activities locally and internationally.
An AI-powered Knowledge Pavilion
The TRENDS Pavilion attracted a large audience at the BRIDGE Summit, where His Excellency Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council (UAEMC), toured the pavilion and was briefed about the smart technologies and artificial intelligence tools it featured. He commended the young researchers for their role in advancing research and scientific methodologies aimed at anticipating the future.
The pavilion was also visited by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, as well as a number of officials, academics, media professionals, and summit attendees.
Interview Robot
The pavilion witnessed the first official use of an interview robot within a research and knowledge-based event. The robot conducted a series of discussions with visitors on global intellectual trends and research topics, drawing on data from the TRENDS digital library. It also enabled guests to pose instant questions and receive responses grounded in AI-supported research, as well as to facilitate short discussions with researchers and influencers.
The robot experience became a major attraction within the pavilion, with visitors capturing and sharing video clips on social media, amplifying the experience’s media reach
