As part of its efforts to enhance cultural dialogue and foster communication between peoples, TRENDS Research and Advisory organized a panel discussion featuring His Excellency Dmytro Senik, Ambassador of Ukraine to the UAE.

The discussion focused on exploring scientific and practical solutions to end global conflicts and promote peace amid current international challenges. It also highlighted innovative approaches that could contribute to building a more stable and secure world.

Additionally, the role of think tanks in anticipating the future of international and regional conflicts was addressed, emphasizing the need for enhanced collaboration between research institutions and decision-makers to develop comprehensive strategies for resolving ongoing conflicts and preventing new crises from emerging.

At the beginning of the panel, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, welcomed the guest and underscored the importance of intellectual dialogue and enhancing the role of research centers in developing insights that contribute to countering and foreseeing events.

He emphasized that the panel discussions hosted by TRENDS that feature officials and intellectuals are part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting intellectual discourse and encouraging scientific research as a means of overcoming global challenges and achieving a better future for all.

The Ukrainian Ambassador praised the global role of TRENDS and its forward-looking studies, affirming the significance of scientific research in these areas.

At the conclusion of the panel, Dr. Mohamed Al-Ali presented Ambassador Dmytro Senik with the TRENDS Research Medal, in recognition of his continued support for scientific research and knowledge dissemination, as well as his prominent role in fostering cultural understanding and strengthening relations between countries.
