The year reflected the maturity of its research experience and the expansion of its scientific presence regionally and globally, built on a cumulative record of high-quality successes over recent years. This trajectory confirms that when knowledge is managed through a strategic vision, it becomes a global force.
The language of numbers stood out as the defining feature of the 2025 output, serving as a practical reflection of TRENDS’ strategic vision and its capacity to turn knowledge into concrete achievements and academic impact that transcends geography, underscoring the depth of its regional and international research presence.
‘From Research to Building Tomorrow’
In a statement on the occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, emphasized that what was achieved in 2025 is not merely a set of figures or cumulative accomplishments, but a genuine expression of the TRENDS vision based on producing rigorous knowledge, building strategic partnerships, and creating scientific impact that transcends borders.
He stressed that TRENDS is committed to making research a tool for understanding global transformations and developing solutions, not just describing reality. To that end, it has worked to integrate research, publishing, training, advisory services, and intellectual dialogue, alongside investing in digital platforms and artificial intelligence to expand the scope of its knowledge role.
Dr. Al Ali added that as TRENDS moves into 2026 under the theme “From Empowerment to Creativity … From Research to Building Tomorrow,” it does so based on the strength of a solid foundation of international partnerships, research expertise, and institutional trust. This foundation drives TRENDS to continue its role as a global think tank contributing to stability, promoting the values of coexistence, and advancing knowledge.
The CEO further noted that TRENDS’ role is not limited to producing research and studies, but extends to achieving impact and making a global difference, based on its belief that knowledge is a responsibility and that rigorous research is a cornerstone of a more aware and stable future.
Dr. Al Ali confirmed that 2026 will be a year of intensive innovation powered by artificial intelligence, with a focus on high-quality research projects with more profound global impact. He pointed out that TRENDS is entering a new phase of comprehensive administrative and technical development through new strategic tracks and projects, the details of which will be announced at the beginning of the coming year.
He said that these achievements would not have been possible without the efforts of the TRENDS team and the support of partners from research, media, government, and private institutions. He also expressed pride that the majority of TRENDS staff are young Emirati men and women who have demonstrated excellence across research and administrative fields, embodying its motto: “investing in youth is investing in the future.”
