TRENDS Signs MoU with IMPACT-se to Enhance Research and Collaboration

TRENDS Research & Advisory has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Monitor Impact and IMPACT-se (UK) to enhance research and collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, and Mr. Marcus Sheff, CEO of Monitor Impact and IMPACT-se, signed the MoU. Several officials and researchers from both sides attended the signing ceremony.

The memorandum aims to support joint research efforts based on evidence and facts, leveraging them to serve society and decision-makers, expand the knowledge base, and benefit from policy and scientific research expertise.

       

The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation, including conducting joint research in social, political, economic, and future studies; exchanging non-resident experts and researchers; organizing joint conferences, workshops, and seminars; exchanging publications and research outputs; and contributing to the production of joint research reports.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali emphasized that this research partnership is part of TRENDS’ ongoing commitment to expanding international collaboration in research and leveraging distinguished global expertise. He added that the MoU reflects the center’s keenness to build effective institutional relationships contributing to knowledge development and policy-making.

       

For his part, Mr. Marcus Sheff expressed his pleasure at this partnership, noting that collaboration with TRENDS represents a strategic step toward promoting impactful applied research. He praised TRENDS’ role in supporting the research environment in the region.

This agreement underscores both parties’ commitment to advancing joint efforts in strategic thinking and future studies, serving shared objectives, and strengthening the role of think tanks in shaping evidence-based public policy.
